Birch plywood is an ideal material for furniture manufacture. Except normal birch plywood, bending plywood is used wider and wider in interior and furniture. Bending plywood, also known as Curved Plywood,Molded Plywood,Flex ply, Wacky Wood and Wiggle wood, is normally made out of hardwood veneers with the layers all running in one direction, this allows bend ability to the panel and can be applied on a curved radius. The bending plywood manufactured by us uses the best quality of raw woods. Our flexible bending plywood has high elastic strength and heavy enduring capacity. So they can be easily molded according to the requirement of the applications include reception desks, curved shop counters, boat making, curved furniture , cabinet applications, kitchens curved furniture parts and fixtures such as displays in department stores, restaurants, commercial buildings and building of spiral stairways and even modem sculpture. Most times it will be overlaid in a custom application with veneer, high pressure laminate, for finished columns or other rounded or curved radius surfaces. It is still the preferred choice for many regular users of this type of product. Flexible Plywood is available in 3mm,5mm, 8mm, 10mm, 12mm & 16mm thicknesses (long and cross grain). Additional thicknesses can be created by simply bonding sheets together. Once fixed Flexible Plywood becomes a rigid structure. Radii as small as 5 cm can be cold formed with 5mm Flexible Plywood and 10cm radii with 8mm. Complex multiple radii shapes that would be virtually impossible with conventional products can be easily created using Flexible Plywood. No special equipment is required to bend fabricate or laminate.
